I am in need of some help. I have the distribotr pulled out to replace the O ring but, where does it go? When parts arrived from CDan, there was one O ring and a seal with a small metal ring around it like the inner axle seal. On the shaft that sticks into the engine, there is an O ring nestled into a grove however, the new one is much smaller, ie narrower and flimsier. It would almost seem the new gets pushed all the way down that shaft to help seal the body of the distributor.
The small seal thing looks like it might go on the shaft that the gear is on but I cant be sure. If it does, how do you get it on there? If not there then where?
I don't have a digital camera so no pics unfortunately. Also, I am at home with suck ass dial up so please be patient with my responses.
