Overnight I woke up and I know the lights were off when I went to bed. I found the parking lights and brake lights on. I went out and tried to turn them off, they would not. I started the car and turned it off, nothing. I drove it back and forth on the driveway and then turned it off and they went off.

woke up this monring and the lights were back on. Car wont start.

Lights were in the off position overnight.

any ideas?

Look at the wires and see if you can see somewhere they are grounding out, alternatively check the fuses and make sure nothing has corroded. Salt zone vehicles are fun.

This sounds sort of like a problem I had several months ago. My immobilizer system was doing weird things, then one night, my parking lights were blinking for no reason. Then, eventually, my 2003 LC wouldn't start. It threw a code that had to do with the ECM and/or the immobilizer system telling the engine not to start, but there was nothing physically wrong with anything--just some sort of electronic gremlin, apparently. After process of elimination, the only option was to replace the ECM. In order to potentially avoid that cost, my mechanic instead reset the ECM and re-programmed my keys. Knock on wood, no problems since then.

I generated three separate threads on this that you will find if you search for threads that I ("Dill Pickle") generated. Even if this ends up being a different problem, some of the other recommendations by other mud members may be helpful.
