In the process of repair the driver seat tear at the seam. How do I remove the control panel? Trying to pull the leather off. I'm stumped.

I used a flat plastic pry tool that I use to get door panels off, it was held with 2 clips, front and rear if I recall correctly. Just lightly pry up from the under side.

It's a real PITA. Not door panel clips. Four clips in all, two top and two bottom. Must relaese two at a time to get it off.

Dammit, I was trying to figure out how to get those off last week. I managed to pull the leather off of the cushions enough to do a crappy sow job but it would have turned out better if I could have gotten that junk out of the way.

At least I didnt smash the f'in thing.

Yeah, real pain in the ass. Luckly, I figured it out before i destroyed it.

I'm trying to pry off that same plastic panel. I can see it's held on by 2 clips, but even using trim tools, it's really difficult. I can't seem to get them to 'pop'. Argh. Any helpful hints from you guys?

Thanks,

Muddy1

Push two of the prongs at the same time to release one side and then do the same to the other side. This pict may help.
