rattle noise from the right passage side, drives me crazy. ---- updated on 8/12

While driving today, there was some kind of rattle noise coming from the right passage side, it seems to be at higher the speed, the louder it is

May or may not has to do with it, just had the timing belt replaced 2 days ago, and I have not driven it since, and there was no rattle before, would it has anything to do with it, or just perfect timing?

Any idea what to look for?

May sound silly, but anything in your rear quarter panel lockers back there??
I had a rattle like that too and it was some tools rattling in one of those rear quarter panel lockers.
If that's not it, get a passenger for a ride along and see if they can isolate the sound as you drive.
If they have to get out of there seat belt, just be careful.

FWIW I had an annoying rattle that seemed to emanate from behind the glove box/under the PS air bag. Listened while others drove my rig until I resigned myself I was going to have to live with it...or tear the dash completely apart. And similar to what you describe mine got louder with faster speeds and quieter at slower speeds.

Then after I installed the snorkel last winter the noise ceased. I discovered it was the antenna coax feed.

So check your antenna feed wire if all else fails. You'll see it exit the cabin just above the passenger side plastic foot well trim. Maybe try pulling a little bit out or pushing a little more of the coax into the inner fender area as it may be rubbing/vibrating on the plastic inner fender panel like mine was.

Loose air box mountings after the T-belt? Grab the air intake assembly and give it a good shake; its far right and forward and comes off for most service so it's a possibility.

In general, start banging all over the place and you may be able to re-create and isolate it without the engine running.

My last rattle was the catalytic heat shields after T-belt, headers, front diff, etc was serviced.

My rattle was a cracked catalytic converter shield. Replaced and no rattle.

Good luck:cheers:
