Loud,
I have the half rack and it mics out at 150mm c to c.
Edit: make that 155mm

Hoser measured his half rack too and came out with the 155. I wouldnt see a reason why they'd make the half rack completely different from the full, just change the length, but keep the width and spacing. Thoughts?

Double checked mine with a micrometer in metric mode and come up with 155mm also.
Looking at where my two outer long rails line up on sunroof thinking the spacing is not the same for half rack, rack is narrower and first guess is rail spacing is different.
The outboard nut groove on outer rails line up with sunroof outboard weather-stripping, the outer rails in your photo are a couple of inches outboard of that. Hoser where do your rails line up.

I don't know where my rack lines up. It's still in the box!

The RTT is collecting dust too. Going back to the ground tent for now... at least 'til the kids get older.

I was wondering if anybody had ideas on how to install limb risers on a hundy without tubework up front. Is it at all possible or is an ARB the only was to mount limb risers?

How about fabbing up a couple brackets that mount where your fender screws on the top. Similar to these antenna brackets Gamiviti - roof racks and cup holders but a little different? There's a screw just behind the headlights..

You'd need to really secure the hood lip anchor side of those limb risers so they are very stoutly attached...as they take a ton o force when they're doing their job!

Might have to rename them "twig-risers."

I need "tree-risers", I never feel like getting out when there's a tree in the way, so I just drive into it with the ARB till it's moved enough that I can get around/under it.

This may come in handy for future DIYers...or it may not...

I am making some custom shift knobs for my father's Cruiser, specifically the transfer case knob. Unfortunately, I don't have the Cruiser or the knob in front of me as he lives about 40 minutes away.

Model is a '98 100 series. I tried searching but couldn't find any info on the matter - then again, maybe I was plugging in the wrong titles in the search engine.

In any case, size and thread pitch for the transfer case knob would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

Anyone know where I can find the really extremely annoying key chime bell/chime/buzzer/whatever so I can disconnect it?

After all these years I've usually just let it be, but I've bought so much gas and have had the door open with key on(music) while setting up camp so much lately it's really annoyed the hell out of me and making me loose my mind.

Oh I'm surprised you didnt say I need to take my running boards off, since that's the first thing everyone says.

Turning up the music would be a for sure way to kill the chime, since my battery would die pretty fast.

I figured the decibals would vibrate the chime and make it crap the bed...

remove your running boards, tighten up your torsion bars until they wont go any further, change all your lights out to LEDs, remove the vibration dampener on passenger side....then click your pink heels together and say three times- I wish I was in Australia, I wish I was in Australia....and it will go away immediately. :D

K&N full intake setup sounds amazing, I miss it. Well only when I'm not trying to haul the now overweight and anemic 100 up long grades.
