can someone tell me why it is so hard to get rancho coil over shocks.
I am already waiting for 7 months for shocks and they are still in
backorder at summit racing.
i am looking for 2 shocks rancho number rs19536-3. does somebody where to buy?

don't waste your money on Rancho. FOA, FOX, KING, Sway-a-Sway, Bilstein...ALL better choices with virtually no waiting.

Seriously, Ranchos are pretty painful. I'm pretty sure they've run my spine out the top of my skull on more than one occasion.
I swear by Bilsteins, they're great, though bank.

Rancho Coilovers .. are you serious .. ? kidding .. never saw 'em .. and all my experience with coilovers it's with FOA and I'm as far as I can tell pretty happy ..

My Rancho experience has been less than good. Fox is exceptional stuff, but as a general rule, they will not allow anybody to buy parts for servicing their stuff, you always have to send it in. Maybe that matters to you, maybe it doesn't.

Rancho coils are not cool.

I have had good luck with Kings, Fox, SAW.

I have FOAs on my yota and they are OK, but no king or SAW. I have SAWs on my buggy.

The FOAa are a big step up from ranchos tho.

You can't get parts for FOX shocks?

A little off topic but as far as coil overs go... on one of my sand rails I blew the transmission and i'm installing a bus trans and some 3x3 arms to get it some decent travel. I'd buy kings but on this one I really don't want to drop that kinda cash on since its a 1200lb 180hp 2 seat rail thats really going to just be my extra car next season. Tuition keeps soaking my project budget pretty hard each semester to.
I'm going back an forth between some Fox air shocks or FOA coil overs.

I guess bang for your buck whats the best option in something like this?

I like how easily tuned air shocks are but I don't like the fact if you blow one your riding on the bump stops. Any truth to overheating the air shocks as well? This car moves pretty well and itl defiantly get use out of the travel.

ride height changes with spring rates on air shock.

I prefer the coilovers myself. Ultimate adjustability over an AS.

Well that's a new one on me. All the other Fox stuff I have ever dealt with (motorcycle and mountain bike) are a send-it-in-only affair.

There are three stores in town here that I can get Fox parts at.

Been that way give or take for 30 years or so..

:meh:

5000 psi?

And 30" travel shocks? I think they are not really designed for the true off road market.

I Think the would do anything you need...... so I heard......
