Good job guys!

Does that mean the pot might ride be at Logan's Run? If so, I wanna go on the maiden voyage with Meatball! Liz can ride with me.. ;)

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

Not sure why, but Meatball reminds me of a little trailer park kid during the middle of the summer all wet, barefoot, and dirty. Hehe. Good stuff guys! Hope y'all got it done and ready to roll.

Make sure you read... and understand ... the directions before getting to work on your rear end! Now get to it, looks like you got a 5 hr window of no rain

Looks like fun… er progress at least. Dont forget the shocks!

Wish I coulda made it but i got a deadline to move a truck here and the rain certainly didnt help here either. I am a bit jealous of that canopy though, my easy up isn't enough to cover the truck and workspace with it coming down this hard.

I think that depends upon :beer::beer: consumption...

Lol, yeah. We got the front end done yesterday but ran into a couple of hiccups along the way which delayed us. Ended up calling it a day around 5 so we could relax for a while, then we went out for dinner.

The rear is being done as I type this :D

We finished the rear springs up early today. Went much easier then the front. Many years of rust were attacked with pb blaster and a big hammer.

The crockpot now sits a lot taller! Still fits in the garage just barely.

Thanks Johnny for all the help. Everything went pretty smooth except for the run yesterday making stuff miserable.
Will post some pics later

No problem buddy, I had fun :D Thanks for having me over!

Hell no I'm not driving it to Logan's run. It will be on a trailer.

For people with small cruiser budget it takes awhile to save $$$ for parts and materials.

Still have a few things to do before Logan's run.

C'mon man I drove a pig with a 1F and 9'' of lift to tellico and cullowhee..... but it did come back on a trailer once .... oops :)

Nice work. Make a list of the extra to dos and plug away until your done.
I unashamedly stole JC's garage greaseboard list idea.... though when you list it all out it can get a little overwhelming. Not sure if you got you shocks yet but if not and you get a chance to measure compressed and extended lengths let me know as I still got some HFS shocks here NIB

and I hear you on the budget..... this motor was may's project put on hold till funds and time was available. But the little stuff is adding up fast..... 1xx in paint and sanding, 30 in fittings, 38 in hoses.....
and then there are the surprises you werent planning on. steering fittings, driveshaft flanges, vacuum fitting interferences. its a good thing we supposedly enjoy this sort of challenge :D

Hope the rest is smooth sailing for you and looking forward to seeing the new and improved crockpot.
