Hello guys,

i think this is a real dumb question, but here it goes :o

I have a chance to guy a 4 core radiator cheap for my L/cruiser, however the top and bottom pipes are on different sides from what i need, is it possible to swop my old top and bottom tanks onto the new radiator, they are the same dimensions all round.

thankyou!!!

Is it metal, plastic, or aluminum? Stock engine or V8?
Metal tops and bottoms are soldered on. Propane torch and compressed air will blow the solder off. Takes a little bit of skill to get it just right. You can buy radiators for around $150, new. The one you want must be really cheap.

agreed.. hardly seems worth the effort to pull this off given you can buy new very affordably, get at least 1 year warranty, and know it is setup correct right from the start. On such a crucial part... I would pass.

Hi, its metal, i live down in NZ, so i am unable to get good new parts down here like all the supplies you have in US, usually have to go 2nds, or get customs built, the last one i got Custom bulit for a mini truck cost me a grand... about 600USD, i would be looking at that again... its to go with the stock engine, and its a trail rig only, so im going to put a big ass fan in front off it also, keep her cool, with alarms and stuff when she is getting to warm.
