On the sides of my radiator there are a couple of mounting bolts that are about 1/3 of the way down the sides of the unit.
They look like there were some "insulators" there, as they are referred to in the FSM.
Well, the only things there now are the bolts. Do these "insulators" deteriorate to the point of completely falling off?
What can I replace them with as I don't think you can order them seperate of the complete radiator.

Do you see anything missing? Look like stock bolts? Radiator feel loose? There are insulators, IIRC they are on the engine side of the core support. The bolts on the front of the core support hold on the radiator brackets, the insulators are on the bolts holding the radiator to the brackets. They're rubber, I doubt they would just disappear, but one never knows what mechanics/PO's will do.

The only thing missing is those insulators. The bolts are definitely the OEM ones. They are special. I just need the insulators.
Freakin' PITA. I am sure the bolts and insulators were removed for some reason and the insulators were lost.
Any ideas fro replacement?

I don't even remember what they look like for sure, but you could try rubber sway bar bushings. If you have a shop belt sander you can shave them to fit. IF that's the general shape of the originals.

They are cheap direct from Toyota. Sounds like someone did a radiator job and decided they were not all that necessary. They are 2 piece rubbers that snap into themselves but are somewhat of a pain to install after the fact.
