Thanks for checking in. I’m still working to find another builder and have a bunch of parts in various stages of completion being shipped to me from my previous builder in a couple of days. I’ll check back and give updates when I can.

I had a setback with progress. My DD taco needed front brakes. I got to burn more gas driving the spare 80 the last couple of days and got the taco back into service with my wife’s help pumping the pedal during bleeding tonight.

I’ll be visiting more fab shops as soon as possible to get this back underway. The taco has about $7 worth of hinge stock in the back…

Not currently. I’m working to get a new builder to take care of old outstanding orders while I’m prepping to deploy for a few months to the Middle East. My hope is to be able to have things set up and reset while I’m there and have the hinges ready to order again.

With this whole debacle I’ve been able to get some shirts and hats available on my site.

Did you ever find someone new to make your hinges? I ordered some from your website but have not heard back. do not want to put the doors back on until I have better hinges, it is to much of a pain to install. Thanks

Are these in stock and ready to ship? Just bought my first 40 and want to take the top off for the summer. Figured these would make it easy to swap back and forth

The hinges are being built currently to fulfill a years worth of back orders and then to be available beyond that.

As I wrote in another thead, I’ve been sent away for a couple of weeks on an Air Force tdy and will be back just before the Memorial Day holiday.

Once I’m caught up and the outstanding orders are good, I’ll let you all know when it’s ok to order going forward.

The shop has thier new band saw and is building a fixture to trim bolts. I’ll stop in tomorrow to check on things.

Curious what folks are doing for door limits when using quick hinges? I have a couple sets I plan to deploy this summer, but curious what folks are doing that fits the "quick change" mantra.

They are in production, but I’ve been on a short TDY and can’t assemble and ship until I’m back home. I’ll update soon.

Of course my lawn is likely a jungle and the pool has to be opened. I’m sure there are other honey-do’s I’ll have to do asap upon return, but I will be assembling kits as a priority along with all of it.
