The material is flexible enough to stretch over the hinge pivot. It is more rigid than rubber but exhibits some of the same characteristics. Although is it designed to fit tight around the part, the true "sealing" comes from application of a sealant / adhesive behind the part. The part is more for aesthetics than anything else.
Yes, I ran a small batch so I have some immediately available but I can always run more and as many as needed. It takes about 3 hours to run a set. I have been charging $34.00 for a complete set of 4. I can do the same price for either version.Do you have many of these available yet?
I haven't had time to mess with it. But if you have an extra A-pillar that might be easier.@theoii did you ever get this figured out and do you need more parts?
