maybe you're clueless?

The first line was poking fun at John for not believing there was an fzj100.

The second line was poking fun at John's OME N-74L shock thread.

The third line was poking fun at John's driveshaft/grrrr thread.

wheel you own junk and be happy about it without the attitude.

Is this 100 envy, or simply a case of denial ?

Lets run these 100`s as hard as possible and find out what the (few) weak points are, and fix them...Or was it just easier because the 60 and 80 drivers got a letter or email directly from from Toyota telling them what will break and what works better than their own current designs on the harder trails BEFORE selling the FJ series?..

Unfortunatly, I dont see a whole lot of 100 owners/builders trying to improve on it (including myself) ....they just seem to wait until there is that few and far apart " fix "... and simply copy it.

Oh... And most importantly... does TOYOTA realize what we have to go through when driving an IFS L/C ?!

This thread has officially gone to s***, like the threads in the 100 series forum tend to do.

I recommend test driving a newer LC and LX and seeing if she likes it. That is really the best advice I can give you.

There is a huge ride and handling improvement between an 80 and a IFS 100. Get one. You won't be sorry.

I did and I would not say the differance is huge

Unfortunately (at least stock 80 to stock 100) I think I may have to agree with John on this one... DAMNIT!!!



Although, come to think of it, I haven't actually driven a NEW 80 so I don't really know how they drove coming off the dealer's lot for the first time. We didn't get ours until it had 125,000 miles on it, whereas the UZJ only had 8 miles when we drove it off the showroom floor, so maybe that's not a fair comparison.

Of course, none of that matters when you start modding for rocks. In which case the 80 clearly comes out the victor!
