I have a 2013 LC200, all stock. I'm looking to move a set of dumbbells which total to 1700 lbs, plus another 180 for me, about 500 miles from Chicago to pittsburgh. This will exceed what I See as the stated payload by a few hundred pounds, is this ok/ not ok to do? dont really want to tow a small uhaul for a variety of reasons so just looking for opinions. might be able to get the total to about 1700 if I jettison one set, which would still put me slighly over.

Thanks!

You will be fine.

We overload (per USA lawyers) our payloads on our trucks and suv all the time. Be careful driving, give yourself more time to stop.

You won’t damage the truck but try to get as much weight as possible into the second row on the floor otherwise you’ll be sitting on the rear bump stops.

1700 lbs is about 7 NFL players. :) Maybe inflate the tires a few extra PSI.

Dang, how big are your arms, man?!? Even a 75 lbs hex set is only 1200 lbs.
