Go habs! I listened to the game on Friday on the radio (in my Cruiser) on a long drive, it was awesome. 2 goals in the first 7 minutes of play, amazing!

and next year watch the leaf....At least we DO get excited!And for the RHD thing, i'll never own one, just like the majority of people, it is sad but a more logical decision then banning cell phones while driving, when text messaging is way more dangerous...

Don't you agree texting while driving is more dangerous then speaking on the phone. At least when you speak on the phone you can check if there are oncoming cars when you want to overtake. Try texting in a RHD while you want to overtake?
WTF you think people do now that they cannot speak over there cell phone? they text message.. I still speak with my cell phone and never got stoped by police, they know it is a stupid law...I know in some places you are not allowed to message text, but who can control that!?

so, does this mean all these activities should be banned as well...

Land Cruisers in general are not for everyone,
so should they be banned as well?
what about diesel engines? not everyone likes them. should they be banned?

If you really think texting in RHD is worse than a LHD you have real issues with you left and right brain....
I fly from the left and right seat (not at the same time), push and turn buttons, talk on the radios, program navigation systems etc....I guess we should ban that....!

Okay guys, let's take it down a notch. If we let CADA influence the rules about anything, then everyone is on the same slippery slope. They are not only after RHDs but we also know that through the CCMTA that they are attacking aftermarket lifts, old vehicles, etc. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that they are trying to force people into buying new vehicles - what brings them profit. Hell, I have also heard talk of the need to get the old diesels off the roads because they pollute too much.
The real question is should we stand by and let a bunch of non-elected and non-accountable people influence the making of laws based on fabricated and manipulated evidence which will bring them profit. If your answer is no, then we need to stand together.

I guess you didn't figured out yet that i'm talking about the average joe, it is a stupid law to ban RHD, is it more stupid that the phone thing, i beleive not. This is where i stand.
IMHO it is more dangerous to overtake in a RHD then watch where you are going talking over the cell...but that is my opinion. But hey, i'm a damn frog, who says we think like the Anglophones!
We can talk about it all week, but at the end of the year this thread won't make much of a difference with the law makers..
It will if enough people get on-board who will do something about it. Now is particularly a good time with all the scandals that Charest and his Liberals are facing. All they need is another accusation of corruption or improper action.

That's ok, my wife is a frog and my 3 year old is a frog. I try to speak only French to my son so he learns French first.....me French gets better everyday.
