This is a great time of the year for a Pyeatt Run the weather should be perfect! Going up Friday afternoon and camping by the trail head. Meeting at the Chevron across from Wild Horse Pass Casino on the 87 on Friday (have not set the time yet based on who is going up on Friday) Or be at the trail head camp site by 8am Saturday morning. If you have never ran this trail it is the perfect trail for a beginner to someone looking to really challenge your truck - easy to hard lines on most everything. More details to follow! If you plan to attend comment below! If you are heading up Saturday morning I will post the GPS cords for the camp on Friday when we get to the campsite. Unless someone has them saved from a previous run.

I'm a definite probably for driving up Saturday.

I would be in for Saturday, possibly Friday camping but doubtful. Will know more on camping by Thursday.

I just got my truck fixed up. This is tempting! Would the campsite be ok for regular tent camping?
Yes it’s in the pines so plenty of room. Seems most everyone is looking at just coming up Saturday morning so this might become a day trip. There are also some caves my friend Chris knows about so we might stop by to check them out as well. I will update on the camping tomorrow but it really looks like a day run now.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

This is now a Day Run!
Meeting at 7:00am Saturday Morning

This is an optional obstacle called the Filter don’t let Phil scare you!! LOL

Phil my buddy Paul told me they were up there a few weeks back and it is so washed out it might not be do-able anymore. We shall see!

Correct tons of options on this trail.

I ran the trail in our close to stock 100 series in 09

Best case: how long does it take for this run? I see the book says 2 to 4 hours. Might be interested to get out with Graham.

IN 100%.. See ya'll Saturday 7 AM at the Chevron..
Anyone camping overnight? Any good spots on the trail? I am hoping to stay out the whole 3 day weekend, bringing mom who is staying with me during the COVID times.. So Social distancing is a must since she is a bit older and in the risk group.. But She loves the outdoors...

Tons of great camping spots in the area you won’t have a hard time finding a good one 👌

Depending on the number of trucks in the line up, 2 hours with a small experienced group, 3-4 if larger group and spotting/issues encountered. @Otter I might go
Definitely come would be nice to have an experienced tail gunner!

How was the line right up the middle? I am looking forward to Saturday and a good trail run 👍

Same as it's always been, gigantic undercut. Lots of oil floating in the pool, so that definitely doesn't help with either line. Definitely will, wish I could make it!

Unfortunately, I have some pool work to tend to tomorrow. Gotta replace a pump motor so the pool can be in use for the weekend. I will not be able to make it up there.
