Just FYI, on my '13 200 there is no ignition key, just the push button.
If the battery in the fob dies, the door can still be opened with the key contained in the fob - but what about engine start?
Just hold the fob against the button while pushing it and the immobilizer will be disabled and the engine will start. Pretty cool.
Evidently, the battery in the fob powers a transmitter that allows the fob to be a few feet away from the push button to operate. The push button, however, can "read" the fob when it is in close proximity even when it is unable to transmit.
