A friend dropped this PTO off with me today wanting to know the value.
I didn't have a firm answer so I thought I'd get a few opinions.
This came off his 67' 40 and he's unable to use it due to the newly installed Sag power steering. The PTO has been rebuilt and looks to be in great shape.
Your two cents welcome.

scrap weight...... send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly:D

Looks to be in good shape, I payed $600 for mine complete 5 or 6 years ago

is it missing the hoops that go around the drum to the fairlead? don't see em.

wish this was for a split case :(

Ebay prices vacillate a lot on these parts....I suspect with the driveshafts it could bring $600, but plan on $450-$600. The unit does not appear to have the linkage for the stickshift to the PTO, but this is easily fabricated.

On our mud board, I think a fair price for a shipped unit is $500. These are heavy units and will require boxing in two boxes. HTH

Tom, are you keeping it or moving it for your friend?? Looks like I'd be buying something from you this time, LOL

Paul

The shifter looks to be for the transfer case NOT the PTO! You may want to have him check to be sure he's given you the right parts.

With no cable on the drum, you may be able to ship in one box. Fedex has a 90lb limit or so. I got eveyrthing but the driveshaft in one box, but that was b/c it was still connected and not easily broken down. Who knows how much it will bring right now....the economy is screwing all predictability lately.
