Any ideas for unlocking a locked pto winch? It doesn’t do anything. When I put the transfercase in high it locks the driveshaft but it still doesn’t spin the winch. The free spool mechanism is also locked up. Thanks!

I'm assuming you're testing this with the engine off, spinning by hand. Does the shaft for the PTO spin or does it spin but nothing happens at the winch? If it spins but nothing happens at the winch then I would start at the shear pin.

More detail on how you're testing would help.

I don’t even know really how to engage it. If I put the transfer case in high the driveshaft locks up to the pto then if I put it in gear the car moves. I’m not sure if I’m missing a lever or something

I think recently someone posted the manual for the OEM PTO. I would take it off and take it apart, its old new grease/oil, gasket/seals will never hurt. Plus you can fix gears, bearing, bushing, shafts, detents, shoes..... if needed before using it could cause more damage.

There should be a small lever with a flap lock out to engage the PTO on the floor down by the gas pedal area.

Put the winch on gear put transfer case in neutral. Put transmission in gear. Winch spins slow in first gear spins faster in 2 and 3. Winch spins backwards in reverse
