I am thinking of ordering 2 PRP kids seats for my 3 and 5 year old girls. I am looking at getting 2x of the Pre-teen Seats so I do not have to deal with the "Dad, she is touching me" "Am not" "Are too"......etc that I may get with a bench seat. Anyway, what material would be better for kids and offroading.....tweed, velour, pleather, or vinyl?

I am leaning more towards tweed fabric middle sectin and vinyl on all other surfaces. I figure all leather will be easy to clean, but also hot, sweaty and stickey. Tweed would be more confortable, but gets dirty and is hard to clean (ie. does not wipe off easy when things spill on it).

What do you have for kids seats and how do you like it?

i'm interested in this topic also.

Do you have a link or pictures of these PRP pre-teen seats? I have a 6, 4, and 2yo.
Just purchased a '71 rig, that already has a Bestop rear bench installed, which I think is safer for kids (forward-facing). But, I still want to put in some kind of booster seat, or harness-style belts?

Any thoughts? pics?

Thanks...

I have a tweed PRP bench seat in my 40, Its been great, I wouldnt worry so much about the spilling, Things get dirty, However if its too hot and sticky kids may not want to ride in them.
Good luck

EDIT...

So you got tweed for the center and sides and then black vinyl for the outside? Whad width did you order for the bench? What was the color combo you picked?

Do you have more pics of your seat mounts and how it ties into the cage? Can you remove your gas tank or are the seat bars welded in?
