i searched best I could but could not find this.

Is the correct relearn procedure published on posted somewhere?

Could somebody please post it maybe from the repair manual ?

There are some vehicles which have specific guidelines and procedures to do this. I have factory documented publications on this for one of my cars.

I did find some generic suggestions for how to best accomplish it but was asking if there was a specific protocol outlined in a service manual.

These aren't computer heavy vehicles, the battery does not have to be registered with the ecu. Just plug it in and go. You'll have to re-enter radio presets and things like that but nothing special is needed.

I agree with trunkmonkey tho, after putting in a new battery the ecu will make some adjustments over time.

I just had to put a new battery in the wife's car and a dealer trip was mandatory as the new battery had to be registered directly with the ecu. I tried in vein to get around this but everything I came across said dealer program was mandatory. $350 for the whole thing, probably the most expensive battery I've ever bought!
