40th Anniversary sage has crossed my mind.

Didn't know it was in the running.

I vote Antique Sage Pearl. It was Purdy's destination until I woke up and smelled the $$.

White Cap. White bezel.

Brown and Mustard and Seafoam look good to a cruiserhead, but to the rest of the world they look like orange shag carpet with an avacado fridge.

Yeah but shall we try to please the masses or be true to the core and be what we are; CRUISERHEADS...

ttt for an update?

Welding and welding and welding. Every hole in the cab, bed, door, etc. I had a metal shop punch out 50 pieces of varying measurement to fill holes by previous owners. The chassis is ready. The body is headed to the paint shop soon. I hope to have it driveable within a month.

I am thinking 40th Aniversary Sage

Yes good choice. Good all around color, still sticks to the cruiser "roots" yet its a color every one can enjoy.

keep up the good work

I was trying to look it up on truckstv's web site, but it doesn't have it listed. He is painting his newer project truck, "sgt. rock", a really cool color. It's a silver with a hint of green in it. If i were to build a cruiser, that's the color it would be. See if you can check it out on the site http://www.spiketv.com/shows/series/index.jhtml?seriesID=152

I think it is a PPG paint color by the name of sgt. rock.

Yes, all of the trucks he paints he designs the color and then PPG sells them...It is a very cool color...

Gary, i don't remember reading it in the thread, but what are you going to do with the motor? Leave it stock or perhaps put a new slee turbo system in it?

Also, you ought to cut n' turn your catalytic converters like sow.......
cut n turn mod 002 (Small).jpg

For now the motor will be stock. I am counting on the truck weighing about 1.5k pounds less than a loaded 80.
As far as converters go I was thinking NONE. But I do like them on there side if you have to have them.

Ahhh, yes, i like none better too!

Hard top for sure. We gots air conditioning and heat. I like the look of the hard top. I was thinking at first about a soft top, but now I am going the other way with it.
I think with 4" springs in front and 3" in back I will clear the tires fine. It will turn lock to lock now with lots of room to spare unloaded. I am going to run long bumpstops to limit up travel anyway. It works well on my other wagons.
Headache rack?......you have way to much Mississippian in you booooy. When can I get the wheels?
G

I heard that Mississippi comment! Truck looks great!!!!!
