I have a lot left to do but it worked flawless at Moab. I have never wheeled a 40 or an 80, but I did learn that this truck will do things that nothing I have ever owned would do. On most obstacles, it showed me that its a better truck than I am driver. The 45 had no difficulty on anything that I pointed it at. I Also learned that Toyota's front control arm design is not in need of modification. The 45 is 2000 lbs lighter than a trail ready 80 and although the front does not articulate like some would want, the arms are tough and make the truck stable. At this point I have completely changed my mind in doing a 3 or 4 link. I cannot imagine a trail where I would go that this would add any improvement. No matter what you do, the 80 is still a 6k lb. really big truck. An incredible all around 4 wheeler it is, a rock crawler it is not. What I did helped it work easier, and did make a noticeable difference in wheeling, but it did not do anything that a well prepared 80 and the right guy behind the wheel could not do. Mark Hawley and I did some wheeling together and he led or followed me wherever I we went. There are lots of pics and I will post some when I get them.
