Any tricks I can do to the factory carb other than an oem rebuild kit? For the fj60 gotta get back on track here
A correctly tuned oem carb is pretty much the best power upgrade you'll notice.
I have read a little bit about a monster camshaft that may add some torque:
Red Line RL3000 2F Camshaft for F / 2F Engine - Toyota Land Cruiser - Red Line Land Cruisers - https://redlinelandcruisers.com/shop/40-series/engine/2f-engine/red-line-rl3000-2f-camshaft-for-f-2f-engine-land-cruiser/
Spark advance tuning and actual ignition timing should also help get optimum economy/power in any setup you go with.\
Holley Sniper EFI did a Hyper Spark distributor that has ignition control which could be adjusted even further.

Some 285 75 r16 ordered
rear leaf packs ordered ome cs005ra
will be rebuilding the carb this week since my rebuild kit just showed up.
found some nice 2.5 Fox shocks with resi and adjusters for the front now on the hunt for some deals for rear shocks and front leafs.

I'm interested in selling the chrome gutter trim off the 60 if anyone is interested...
located in orange county ca, I'm sure it would be a pita to ship

Can you save me some pics of the carb rebuild?
Im about to order a rebuild kit. Then looking forward to re-tuning it y a y !

so that was fun...hopefully i did it with out f ing it up hah found the secondary diaphram was cracked so that could have been one of my big leaks. only took a few photos. i used hot water dawn dish soap and CLR all in a bucket to soak and a paint brush to clean up the body of the carb and it worked great. A hot sonic tank cleaner would be nice..ill post pics later.

My rule with projects is if I have some s*** in the garage I haven’t used in a while I sell it and use those funds for new project so I don’t make wifey mad haha

Finished front leafs been hot as **** lately here in OC went with manafre anti wrap shackles and pins with zerks to keep it all lubed.
Question has anyone ran a Fox or king 2.5 with adjustable resi or just a straight 2.5 size shock. ? Would love to make it ride smooth and it would just be a little bit more of an upgrade from a 2.0 smooth body.

Found some nice new Fox 2.5s for 800$ so wanna make I different.
