Very nice. Been looking at the GX470 but was'nt sure howa build would go. Following yours for sure. Thanks for sharing. When it comes to suspension, does it share the same components of other 120 platforms? Same year 4RNR Icon coilovers and Camburg UCA would fit?

I think it is very close to the prado 120 for the front end, and I think the icon stuff would probably work for the front. The differences I have seen with the Gx, FJ and 4runner seem to be the speces on the front spindles, at least I knwo the FJ spindles are different.

When it comes to the rear since the GX has airbags there is diffinently work to be done if you want to go back to coils. Shocks again are pretty simular from size standpoint.

Cheers,

Michael

I might have to check out your ride sometime, since we are both in SD, makes me wanna make my GX look more rugged now. =P

I have some work to do before I can get the Lex back, Just hope I can get it done quickly.

Cheers,

Alright... got my Lex back or should I say Prado :D

I got new performance rotors sitting in the shop waiting to be installed, as well as a dual battery kit. I will have to fab up a battery mount but should not be a big deal once I find a spot to put it.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Cheers,

Michael

Nice build. I look forward to seeing how it will look. Better consider replacing your steps with some sliders if you really intend to wheel it.
