Surfing CL from the couch and came across a listing that said it was fairly local even though the pics didn't look as such. Sent a text asking if it was still available to check out and got a response the next morning that it was. Needless to say, I'm now the proud owner of this patina party:

Fires right up off the side mounted jerry can, but boy is she crusty. Have some work to do at the DMV to make sure I can get it appropriately registered but otherwise take delivery of her in a few days.

Should be a fun one to unravel and cruise the 101 with! Will make a nice addition to my mustard 1976 hardtop.

Welcome to the party pal!

interesting shackles front and rear.

Welcome to the party pal!

Definitely crustier than my 76 of which I've been all about patina preservation; that's for sure.

interesting shackles front and rear.

I'm guessing they'll be the first of many "interesting" things I uncover when I finally get this thing home and attempt to put it in gear. Have a set of 5x factory steelies en route already, will get some KO2 33's under there to begin with and see what falls off next.

Anyone know where to get repop canvas door straps for the FST's?
