First off - this forum is great! There are a lot of talented individuals here!

Project Elsie - 1990 FJ62
Donor - 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 2wd with 222k miles
Drove it for 2 weeks to make sure it was good to go.

Original Estimated time for completion of swap was 8-10 weeks (i work 2-3 nights a week in my backyard shop). This has increased as I am a month in and ordered the Advanced Adpaters for the trans and they are telling us 3-5 weeks! Yikes!

Anyway, the owner already drives a super clean 89 LC and wants a little more power to pull a boat, camping gear, etc.

Tonight i look to mount the fuel tank back in with the Tahoe fuel pump in place of the factory LC pump.

CruiserMatt - we are keeping the frame and suspension stock....for now

drained the fuel tank and mounted the fuel pump over the weekend! Tonight is the big night for the transfer case adapter to be mounted up! Advanced Adpaters kit 50-0420 - 4L60 to HF2A
