I currently have a 72' Bronco, The body is shot. We have record rainfall here in NW Florida so I want something with a cab and doors. I have access to my buddies Toyota yard so I picked up a 90' X-cab and frame today. I'm trying to decide which frame to use for the project??
Drivetrain will be 351W, C-6, 205 or 203/205. I worry about the width of the Toyota frame where the headers will be. ( I have long tube headers)

I know on my 85' yota long tube headers were an issue.(SB chevy)
Not sure if the 90' frame is wider or not?

So you are concerned about headers when doing an entire valvetrain swap?

Why not just run some shorty headers?

Some silly bronco nut will drool over that hartop you have.

Yep, I'm pulling this out of my other Bronco so I need the long tubes(400+ HP)

You have a GT40 intake on a 351 that pumps out over 400hp?

Thats what the builder said. But, It was carb'ed initially. FWIW

SEFI Fuel Injected 351W, hydraulic roller motor, Ford Motorsports SVO aluminum heads, Hedman ceramic coated headers, Ford Lightening GT-40 upper and lower intakes. 30lb. injectors, Mustang cam

I just read your build thread, wow ! Thought I was slow:flipoff2:

Actually you beat me by two years. My 74' build took seven years..........

Cool rear leaf set-up, I saw that on a Bronco once. I'm surprised it's not utilized more often..

I dig the early broncos
