I've been using proclip for the last several vehicles. Great product that several friends and family have purchased after seeing one of mine. I tried the other version for the 200 that mounts to the left pillar. I prefer to have my device in a location that I am looking up and ahead. I ended up taking it out after a couple months as it was kind of difficult taking it in and out with the grab handle in the way. All my previous mounts were in a much better location...similar to the location in my wife's car: http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/vehicle/lexus/gs-350/2014.cmsv
If you prefer the location in the picture above, you can't go wrong with the product quality of Proclip.
I have the vent mount (between stereo and steering wheel) and really like it. Best mounting system I've tried in any vehicle I've owned. It is very sturdy and a convenient location for my iPhone.

Unfortunately, proclip doesn't list the vent mount as an option for my 2009 LC. :/ I wonder if it really doesn't fit or if it's an oversight on their website.

Check the vents on next year models - if the same shape, dimensions, then it will likely work on your vehicle. Also consider call them to ask. I am very, very happy with this mounting system. Given how cheap and crappy many mounting solutions are, proclip was a significant surprise on the upside.
I have a 2009 LC also. I do not believe ProClip has a vent/dashboard mount for that model. The 2009 Lexus LX 570 has a different air vent than the 2009 LC. I played around with the different options and components on the ProClip website and ultimately decided on the Console mount with a swivel bracket and extension plate. I have my iPhone 6S in an Otterbox Defender case so I chose a holder with integrated USB/lightning power that can accommodate the Defender case. With a 10% discount the total for the 4 parts is $134. (Discount code this week is CES2017 for the Consumer Electronics Show. You're welcome. )
The phone won't be mounted as high as I originally wanted but it will be out of the way and will not obstruct anything on the dash or the console. Most importantly, I will be able to stop using one of my cupholders for my iPhone to bounce around in! Should have everything in about a week. I'll post pictures after I install. I should be able to swivel the phone and tilt it to a good angle facing up at the driver's face. The result should be similar to what @gaijin has pictured above and will look something like this...
My 2 cents worth here, Panavise also makes high quality dash and console mounts if you can't find what you are looking for with Proclip. I have both brand mounts in my vehicles and I am very pleased with both.
