I've got a magnetic vent mount now and like it, but this one being offset is nice.
Does the magnet interfere with GPS on your phone?

No sir, it does not mess with GPS or data, i think it only affects spinning type hard drives, phones are solid state drive so it doesn't mess with data and GPS is not affected by it.
Also the clip that goes into the vent, you twist the knob outside and it clamps down hard, wont slip off like the rubberized push in type.
