Awaiting delivery of a pair of procar rally seats to put in my 3/1970 40.

Have installed an in tank fuel pump for fitech fuel injection setup. This caused me to have to lift the passenger bench side of the seating and now it just looks dumb.

Too bad, as I had redone stock seats and they are otherwise very nice. Should have just done buckets to start with.

Anyone have any pictures of mounting procar seats in an older 40 that has driver side toolbox and passenger side in cab fuel tank? Looking for ideas.

Lots of pictures of later year models, havent found any early year pics.

@JackA has used them in a couple of recent builds.

Like stated above, I have used Procar 90s in several of my builds. A few early trucks and a couple later models. The passenger seat ends up slightly higher than the drivers side due to the fuel tank. My pics don't really show the mounting brackets I made though.

Thanks for this pics JackA!

just looking for ideas. My first 40 (also a 1970) did not have factory seats or brackets when I got it and I made a couple of different ones that were all ugly (I was a teen). Hoping to make something nice this time as I plan on keeping this 40 forever.

where did you get the seat mount for the driver's side in the bottom pic (without the storage under the seat)?

the previous owner removed the storage and i need a mount.

In all of my seat mounts I reused the factory stuff and modified them to fit the Procars.
In the last pic, that's the oem mounting, modified of course, I used.
You should be able to find that stuff used.
