Problem with my 100 series PCM 98741–60060, help (1 Viewer)

I have a 99 100 series, the keys won’t start the car. It turns over, but it doesn’t engage. I was told that the keys are not programmed to the PCM. Took it to the dealer, they said they can’t program the keys, and their scan says that there are too many key codes on the PCM. I need to replace the PCM, but as we all know, it discontinued has anyone dealt with this? They said do not install a used one. Need recommendations.

Search around, there are places that will virginize your ECU for programming, several good threads by use Mauser, he doesn't do the work directly any longer, but in his threads is someone else who does now.

Find a specialized locksmith to "virgin" the ECU, then you can register your keys to work with that ECU
