Probably totaled

Buy it back from the insurance company then have an auto shop fix it and get a rebuild title. If it were a uni body you would be screwed but the 100 platform is body on chassis. A good shop can repair a lot of damage so well that you would never know anything had happened.

Didn't look that bad until I saw the rocker. Don't know if that's totaled, but I bet it will be close.

I'd make them fix it unless you're just itching for a newer one.

Pillar looks okay in picture but when you open both doors ( with a lot of beating and jerking) it's definitely screwed...I had kicked around letting them pay me a reduced price and fixing it with a salvage title but just going start over...wasn't to far gone money wise in it...had a regular suspension on it instead of ahc, brake system brand new (everything), new tires , tinted windows a few weeks ago...
Actually in most cases (states) when owner keeps, taking $$ hit on settlement, the title doesn't change hands. So no salvage title, but often reported on car fax.

I was just looking at a Copar auction on a very clean in & out 2002 LX, dealer maintained every 5K with 118K. With stated estimate retail valve $13K (pre accident). Winning a Copar bid, I'd have about $1K in fees above auction winning bid, all said and done to my door with salvage title (if I won bid).

The hit was like yours (side impacted) but much worst. Front RH wheel leaning in, A & B pillar & rocker panel, both RH doors, front & rear RH wheels and tires, even console was moved from under body buckle, even third row would no longer lock in, likely frame, UCA, LCA, knuckle damage & steering rack.

Last bid I saw was $6,800, if I bid and won next it would have be $6900 plus $1,000. My cost ~$8K or more.

$8k would be about parts value over two years of working & storing to part out. So obviously someone, body shop most likely, bought to restore and sell.

I really have hard time with the high prices these totals go for at Copar, but they do.

This gives you idea of the hit you'll take on adjustment to keep. It's why most don't keep. That said it worth the shot to see what they say adjustment will be. I have had insurance company give check and just say keep, but not on a series 100.

They didn't total it and I've already bought another, this one for sale 1500...completely drivable, clear title

How many miles in the truck?

210 but still being driven a little...timing water pump and pulleys done at 168 or 178 k would have to check when my son gets home because he has been driving it till we get my other one in....has a regular suspension on it and brake booster system was rebuilt around 6 months ago...tires are near new...I offered to a family friend and they will tell me tonight if they can buy it or not...2254055848
