I watched this for info on jump starters and this guy does a great job. I bought the Gooloo GP2000.

Aka the same trucks you’d outrun without a pedal commander by pressing the throttle all the way.I’ll be murdering, tundra’s 4runners and Tacoma’s at stoplights with a smile on my face…
I had two 70’s, one for the cruiser and another for a diesel car. One of them got stolen and the diesel is no longer in the fleet, so to replace the missing 70 I was torn between the old school GB40 for the new daily or the X45. For $20 more I decided to see whether there is any tangible benefit to the X. But I don’t see myself replacing the 70 any time soon as long as it continues to hold charge.I see that NOCO has new models of their lithium jumpers the “GBX” Series also on prime sale. Anyone use these new models? Sounds they have faster charging and slightly higher amp output.

doesn’t add horsepower and no one should think it does.Aka the same trucks you’d outrun without a pedal commander by pressing the throttle all the way.
You do what makes you happy. I’m simply pointing out it doesn’t add any actual horsepower.

Personally the fast charge function doesn’t seem very relevant.. mine typically stay charged and ready just in case. If I deplete a jump pack I’ll probably be putting a new battery into the car very soon anyway. Plus my general strategy is go half-overkill on these since I’m not trying to save grams. A few extra amps out of the X45 won’t touch what a 70 will do.
IMO while the older models are still available that is what I’ll be recommending to friends & family..
Oh and, I will always avoid the letter-soup Chinese knockoffs because these things have a ton of potential energy sitting in an unattended vehicle. It doesn’t take much of a fire to total a vehicle. This is one place I will absolutely pay for name brand quality, especially when it’s on sale.
For those that don’t know Noco is often half off on cyber Monday.
Thank you!Just FYI, if you don't already have a jump starter in your car, Amazon has some good deals on them today.
I think this makes a much bigger difference on the 2016+ trucks with the 8-speed. When I want this kind of response I just turn on ECT PWR in my 2013 and it's like an overweight cheetah taking off.It
doesn’t add horsepower and no one should think it does.
But it does really help with that weird 0.5sec delay from pressing the gas pedal and the car responding. Especially in low gear.
Some guys like the super herky jerky super sensitive gas pedal feel and run it in power mode. I run mine on city 1+ and it feels like how it should have been programmed from OEM. My mpg maybe dropped a 0.1 or 2. But got rid of that annoying delay at stop sign stop and start.
I just ordered the 75 for the extra insurance@bloc
Does the NOCO GBX come with a carry case? Any difference between the GBX45 and GBX75 other than the capacity? I assume the GBX45 works fine with our trucks?
Sounds like prices will be better on Cyber Monday? I'm not in a rush.
i decided to cancel my gbx75 order and go with the gooloo gt4000. After reading several reviews, it offers some nice features like (1) usb-c charging (2) usb-b charging ports and it pre-heats the battery. The Noco reviews had me concerned with some long term issues. Just some thoughts@bloc

EDIT: I see now it comes with a "microfiber storage bag"
Oooouuu I like the smaller controller thing better than the larger pedal commander. Since I already ordered the pedal commander I’ll give it a shot. I do like the form of the sprint booster more so hopefully someone can chime in on it.Sprint Booster
Anyone tried this? Seems smarter...
And it sounds like the way it works is different with the 1:1 pedal to throttle reaction? That’s how I interpreted the video anyway…Oooouuu I like the smaller controller thing better than the larger pedal commander. Since I already ordered the pedal commander I’ll give it a shot. This comment alone proves your lack of experience with it. No one is talking about horsepower… that has nothing to do with it, it’s like saying 4.88s don’t make a truck more nimble and feel lighter/faster with 35s.Aka the same trucks you’d outrun without a pedal commander by pressing the throttle all the way.

I had thought they both do the same thing, reduce the built in factory delay from throttle input with varying degrees of aggressiveness. And it sounds like the way it works is different with the 1:1 pedal to throttle reaction? That’s how I interpreted the video anyway…
I’m a sport +1 kinda guy myself!It
