Mudders, long time reader, first post. I've finally decided to take the plunge on a 200 (my first cruiser). Looking at 2016s and hoping to get a deal since the 17s are on the lots.

Wondering if anyone has any experience or insight on selling prices for a new 2016. I have multiple quotes for 76, but feel like I should be able to do better at this late stage. Am I crazy? If not, what would be a good price to jump on?

Thanks!

if it's actually a new 2016 and not a demo, my guess is they won't likely come down much beyond that. $76k is basically invoice. even though the new 17s are hitting the lot and they're motivated to move the 16s, it's still sold as new with all the benefits and it's the same truck as the 17 model.

$76k seems like a good price assuming it's brand new. I bought my '16 in February and recall a couple brand new '15 models that were in the $75k-$77k range at that time. I wouldn't expect to come down too much off of $76k... perhaps you could get a good deal on some dealer installed tires/wheels/suspension?

I bought the dealer's wife's ride with 17k miles for 69k back in October. Was very well taken care of. In my search, almost all demos or used 2016's were in the 69k range, but you could carfax to see which ones were actual single owners and not fleet vehicles. Those ones are worth looking into if you don't mind a little bit of mileage on a current year vehicle at 10% off your already-haggled price (69k vs 76k). Obviously, under 20k mileage on a well-taken care of LC is nothing. Key is not fleet and well taken care of.

2016 dealer price is $74433

75024 invoice + destination - $1677 holdback

2017 dealer price is $74881

75472 invoice + destination - $1687 holdback

$4800-$6800 off msrp is offered locally on 2017 models without negotiating

When I bought mine, there was trunk money that made getting $10K off mrs doable. Is there a way to find out if there's any trunk money available?

I've been on the same path myself, however searching through used and CPOs. I let a blue one slip through my hands early in Nov over in Downey, CA at $66,950 plus tax and fees. Another one got pass me $68,500 this weekend. Mileage was in the mid-teens and both did not have the 7 year/100k Toyota warranty. I'm being strategic and playing the waiting game as a lot of these used/CPOs are sitting on the lot for some time and I'm sure eventually they are going to want to get rid of them. I'm hoping I can pounce then and get my deal.

I bought a brand new 2016 (not a demo) last week for $75,969. This price included all available accessories (glass break sensor, premium protection package, cargo net, remote engine start, connectivity kit, carpets.

Haven't worked with the dealer below (yet) but have been checking Florida prices at some dealers not too far from me that have LCs on the lot, like Toyota of Orlando.

Treasure Coast Toyota in Stuart has a webpage offering a new Blizzard Pearl 2017 for $75,884.

As I said, haven't spoken with them so they might want an exorbitant amount for dealer prep etc. so caveat emptor.

Hold back on 2018 LC is $1,813

Thanks! I had a dealer tell me it was $1699. This was a dealer In the GST region; does it very by location?

I can't say for sure as I can only look up my region, however I don't think they would lie about $114 dollars.
