Looking at a 2009 LC with upgrade package and 158k miles. 3 owners and full service records since new all in GA/NC. Rear main seal, rear crank seal, new brakes all around 154k. Frame is clean. Diffs, tcase, brake fluid, ps fluid 150k. New radiator at 148k. That was all done at a Toyota dealer. OME suspension springs/shocks/UCAs but not sure which shocks - all done at 137k. Asking price is 27500 - private sale. KBB/Nada are 22ish, but that's just a point of reference. Street value?

I suggest asking more about the need for a new radiator. If caught early, it’s a routine replacement. If caught too late, it can mean the engine overheated at 148k miles. How long did the 3rd owner have it? Someone put a lot of money in it the last 10-20k miles. However, none of it really adds much value (vehicles are expected to have working brakes, radiator, etc) except for maybe the OME stuff if someone is looking for that. I have no idea what the market is like in GA/NC.

Why did it need rear main and crank seals? Seems like a red flag to me, especially at relatively low miles. 2008 here, 307k, no seal issues. I’d want to know more.

Radiators appear to be replaced around 100k as preventative or they start leaking due to small cracks? This is what Toyota Owners shows:

RMS seems to not be common, but does happen - more so on Tundras and not year dependent. Guessing they just did the crank seal while they had the trans off.

Current owner says there was oil in that area and the dealer recommended those specific seals be replaced. Misdiagnosed cam tower maybe? Valve covers? Owner says it has not leaked since the repair so....

The rear main seal leaking/seeping is a dealer thing almost always noted when brought in for service.

Very common on the Tundras as well, and almost every one i have stuck my head under has very minimal seepage, regardless of mileage.

I see it as a non issue in MOST (not all) cases
