I found LC and would like to know your opinions about the price. I don't have the maint's info but lets assume it's all done. Mint condition inside out. No modes. What would be good price to buy?

23k +/- 10%

maybe a little more in the northwest
maybe a little less in the east

Sorry....I'll finish this time before my fat thumb hits send again.....

I would think the lower mileage later model 100 series would command a little higher price. I've seen two 2006 models recently, one with 20,000+ miles with an asking price in the mid-40's (way out of line) and one with 45,000 miles in the mid-30's (still a little high IMO).

Me....I'd be willing to pay up to low $30,000 range for a perfect 2006 with 55,000 miles.

What someone would realistically pay and what someone would realistically sell it for aren't the same.

I'd love to have paid $22K for my '04 LC with 72K miles. But I couldn't get it from the dealership (Lexus) for less than $28K. I tried. If I would have walked, I truly believe it would be sitting in someone else's driveway.

Of course this is NorCal...everything is a little pricey but my LC is as close to perfect as I've seen without being brand new sitting in a showroom.

The real questions is--what's it worth to you?

Uh, no. Someone might ask that. Selling price would probably be in the mid 25 range.

Says the guy selling a 2006. Let's see what is sales for.

55k on a 06 (from price shopping the last 6 months) would probably go for 28.

$22k is indeed the going price for such vehicle from a branded dealer. Ask me how I know. ;-) The 100s are like wine; they have to sit for a while before they become attractive. I've had RSS feeds set up for a LONG time watching 100s on CL and they all go through the same thing... high initial price followed by months of advertising. Sometimes they go back to auction or move to another dealer's lot.

To the OP, you can ask $30k if you want and you might get a few tire kickers and if you're very lucky a sale, but that's just not a realistic price point. People who are just looking for a SUV will move to other vehicles with better on-road performance numbers. There are just too many better highway vehicles out there. And people looking for a trail rig aren't going to want to be into a $40k build; the low miles just aren't worth it when you're going to rough it up on rocks. Those two factors box you into this weird space where it becomes difficult to get as much as you'd think you could. You can always list it at $30k and hope you get lucky, but it won't be a quick sale.

I'm with the others. $25-26k in south or east, $27-28k in west / northwest. Maybe ask $1k above that to give a little room to come down to make the buyer feel good. GLWS!

There has been one in nh for almost a year at the 35k price point with 55k. I bought my 2006 lx470 60k miles all service records from lexus from a lexus dealership for 30k with all fees included (5.5%sales tax) (2% of original Msrp excise tax,) license plates title etc. Last month. Had to travel for it but it was the right color condition etc. I had been looking for about 6 months and saw some cheaper but not by much. John

Says the guy that sold an '06 quite a while back. Don't confuse asking price with selling price. A good tool is to search for sold items on Ebay.

The 06 owner is asking for 35k.

Another find is 07 LX with 85000 miles. Excellent condition and all the maintz is done. Is 30k good deal ?

As you can probably see, there will be differing opinions on price. If it were me, I'd check the various pricing guides for your area, look at previous sales figures (eBay is a good source as recommended), decide on a price you are comfortable with, then negotiate. I think you have some good reference points here. Personally, I think both are on the high side.

I think it's unrealistic to expect to purchase a 2006 100 series in (assumed) perfect condition with 55K mikes for anything less than very high $20K's (possibly $30k). Just my opinion, of course. If anyone on here has one or knows of one less than that (in perfect condition) I would be happy to know where it is. I'm in the market for number 2.

1 year newer. 30k more miles. 5k less.
On a quality vehicle like the LC, I would not hesitate to put the '07 ahead in terms of which I perceive as the better value.

Ya little bit less than that. 35k

I witnessed a one owner, White/ tan 2006 with 100,500 miles just sell at $24,900....i would guess half the miles would (only) equate to $3K difference...so $28,000 is my call on the subject.

I think the color scheme makes a big difference for lots of buyers and specifically the Black color seem to languish longer on the market...regardless of the perception of low miles ...IMHO.

How much would the AHC option be worth or deduct from the above mentioned prices?
