Prado 30th Anniversary

Greetings everyone! I was looking at a Prado SX 3.0 Y-KZJ78W-PET and need some guidance. It says 30th anniversary. My understanding was 40th anni in 80 series was 1997. So wouldn’t this be a 1987 model instead of a ‘93?

I can seem to find solid info on fair market value, and the things to know about the KZJ-78... W? PET? in deciphering model #

Any thoughts on the 1 KZ-TE?

30th anniversary was a one year JDM only thing for the 70-series. I believe that was 2014, 70 series in Japan got the 30th anniversary badge.

Somebody probably just put the 30th emblem on your Prado. I have the emblem on one of my tool chests.
