Powergate Isolator Install Questions

So i bought the powergate dual battery rectifier. Im installing and have some questions... here is the diagram as a base:

So my questions are:
1. What guage cable should i run from the alternator to the isolator? (2.5' distance)
2. What guage from the isolator to the accessory battery? (5' distance)
3. Do i need inline fuses, as shown, from the isolator to the batteries? If so, How big and what kind should i use?

Wire size, same as your current alternator wire, or larger in diameter (smaller AWG #).

I'd put the fuses in. For the size, look at what your system is currently fused at.
