I got in my 2001 100 series one morning and went to roll down all my windows and got nothing but the driver side to roll down. I have done 5 seconds down 5 up all the way around many times and have had no luck. I pulled the boot in the door hinge out and no wear or tear to any wires in the boot or anywhere between plugs. No fuses bad. Driver side window works perfect from master switch but no luck on any other windows from their own switch or master. What else could i look for to fix this?

I forget if this button prevents the master from also operating the windows?

If somebody can confirm, when button pressed, those windows won't roll down even at master switch... then I'd suspect the button is broken somehow....

You can apply 12v at the motor plug to see if the motor itself is running or check for 12v at the motor plug. I recently had to replace my motor. Motor was frozen and wouldn't move either manually or with power to the terminal. Check buttons, wires etc as you are doing. I replaced the regulator while I had it all apart. Amazing how much it feels like a new car window now :)

I've had a handful of annoying quirks on my LX470 since owning it. One of which is the driver-side window panel.
I've found that at least 3 times I have "messed" with wiring, it has stopped working until I turn the vehicle off and on again.
- Removing the shifter surround and unplugging everything in there
- Taped up the wiring harness above the spare tire with anti-rodent tape
- Removed the driver-side door panel

Each time the d/s door panel goes wonky on me and only allows me to move the d/s window up and down.

I don't have a solution for you, just wondering if you happened to do any other work around the time that these problems started?

Do you have the service manual and EWD? Look in the Resources section if you don't. FWIW, the 2000 LX470 manual has bookmarks, for every section, and many subsections, you can copy and paste into this manual (I haven't done that to every manual; I leave it to someone who has that truck to do for themselves.) LMK if you need help with this.

Power to passenger side windows, flows from the transmit (TX) terminal (18) in the power window master switch in the driver's door to the passenger side receive (RX) terminal (8) through the Red/Blue wire. Check that there is continuity there. The logic circuit isn't in the EWD, but I know from past experience it can be nonobvious.

The advantage (not really) of the CANBus system is that it allows (mandates) communication (current flow) between (totally unrelated) components, making troubleshooting easy (unnecessarily complicated). You should always check and verify the CANBus communication network prior to troubleshooting the electrical system, unless you have a very good reason to suspect the problem is a simple electrical fault (for example, you know someone's been "improving" your wiring). I think CANBus is a very good system, for what it was designed for: industrial controls. Your truck is not that application. (soapbox dismount)

Page BE-77 has a problem matrix that will guide you to the appropriate section (BE-78 thru BE-85). The master switch inspection procedures are on pages BE-86 thru BE-87. The motor inspection procedures are on pages BE-90 thru BE-93.

Coming back to this... I ordered a new master switch and it came in and all my windows worked for a couple of hours and now all passenger windows will not roll back up. Any ides / suggestions? Maybe a bad master switch I ordered?

I had a similar issue where my passenger front window would randomly decide not to cooperate. I chased it madly for quite a while, but finally discovered one of the plug / pins on the master switch was not making a solid connection. I gave the offending pin a slight bend to get a more solid connection and all has been well since.

Assume new OEM master SW, and part number was checked against your VIN #. We do have a few variation.

Once confirmed P/N of master SW correct. Next is check pins as Bisho suggested.

After these confirmed.

I'd check for signal getting to window CPU, then on to windows.

Make sure to pull fuses test, and look for any oxidation on contact prongs.
