Power Steering replacement search...

First the info: 1986 FJ60, all stock, 117000 miles. Needs new poweer steering pump.
Second the Question: I remember a thread about replacing the power steering pump with a General Motors pump used in older GM trucks to save money (100 dollars vs 800 dollars) I searched, but can not find the thread. Ring any bells? Can anyone send a link or info? Many thanks in advance.

Check out the Cruiserparts.net website I think new OEM Toyota power steering pumps are around 395. Got mine from them. New with reservoir included. No core charge.
