Hi all!

My 2005 LC sprang a small leak on the power steering hose below (blue arrow). Trouble is, I can seem to find this parts diagram anywhere online. I happened across this diagram on an older post from @beno.

I wanted to see if an OEM option is available before I replace the line with 'bulk hose'.

Anyone ran into anything similar?

EDIT:

Hose in question for clarity:

You can get the part OEM, but it's one of those that seems out of whack on price. I believe Rock Auto has aftermarket, or you can splice in new soft hose if that's where it's leaking.

The diagram you posted is the one that I kept finding, but that doesn't match what my truck actually has. Unless someone knows whether Toyota revised the part to remove the hose section that I'm having the trouble with?

Are you just wanting that one section of hose, or the complete line ?

I'm trying to find just the hose section leaking as the rest of the line is good.

EDIT: So this is interesting, below is the parts diagram from a 2005 LX470 which matches what is on my truck. It also has a different part number as well. In summary, looks like Toyota does not sell just the replaceable hose segment, so I will just have to replace the line with bulk hose.

I will cut the line apart tonight and get the diameter for everyone's future reference.

For future reference, if you have the same setup I do with the odd section of hose instead of hard lines, a 3/8in ID (9.5mm) hose will fit. Albeit very snugly; I'd suggest using a heat gun to warm up the rubber. Ideally a hose with an ID of 10mm or 10.5mm would be better. A 1/2in (12.7mm) is a probably too big in my opinion, but you could likely make it work with a constant-torque hose clamp like these from Breeze: LINK

I'd recommend finding a power steering or transmission cooler specific hose with a working pressure of at least 150psig.

Toyota revised the part number

44410-60510

in 2003 to

44410-60593

Some online dealer websites say the 44410-60593 is backward compatible, but I wanted to reverify before I purchased since I have a 2002 which has the old design 44410-60510. Can someone verify whether the newer design 44410-60593 will fit my 2002 LC without having to modify anything. Thanks in advance.

Any pics of the finished product?
