power issue

got an issue with my 80 which has just started,
its slow to accelerate, feels like turbo lag almost , ive checked air filter and that is fine, need some help where to start looking please
its a 93 petrol manual cruiser

I had a injector come unplugged once and it was kind of like what you described. So check those connections and check the injectors themselves.

Could be spark plugs too.

connections are easy enough to check, but injectors? how do you check them?
