so, how tough of a job is replacing the power brake booster?

anything special i should watch out for, etc?

Pretty simple job, did mine without disconnecting any of the brake lines.

4 bolts on the MC and 4 on the booster, disconnect the pin from the brake pedal unhook vacuum line to booster. Takes some wiggling to get out, be careful moving the MC so you don't bend the brake lines to much don't want them to brake.

Edit: There is a brake line bracket on the firewall that I had to unbolt to allow the brake lines to move a little better.

Don't adjust the pushrod with pliers on the shaft. Dings in the shaft will make it leak.
