Ok I might have bit off more than I can chew, but I like to learn by doing.

Recently installed a new head unit (pioneer dmh 2000nex) on my 97 LC, while also removing the power antenna to retrieve a broken antenna mast. Thus there may be multiple points of failure along my journey.

I think however given some searching (Power Antenna wiring with new radio - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/power-antenna-wiring-with-new-radio.1273936/) my wiring is the first place I'd like some assistance working through.

- This is the wiring harness which I purchased to link my headunit to OEM connections. My understanding was this would be a plug in play for antenna functionality (clearly mistaken) given my last single DIN crusty alpine was the power antenna work well (withholding the broken mast)
- It is unclear to me the purpose of the two pink wires (trigger wires for something?) & the power and ground wire (external device power?)

My setup as it stands. Everything works well other than the power antenna. (I've deadend the ground and power wires [off to the right of frame])

In the aforementioned post there was some discussion about tapping wires.

"The blue/white from the head unit goes to the blue from metra. This supplies power to the antenna switch." the problem is I see no blue white wire.

- I'm certainly not as savvy as these gentlemen. If anyone can provide photos, resources or walk me through this I'd be in your debt.

Thank you in advance from an aspiring car guy.

Adapter from amazon (left). Pioneer wiring harness (right)
- Appears the adapter I bought does not have "system remote control" (blue/white) wire. From what I can tell this from other posts this controls the antenna power.

I'll order this make the new connections and follow up with results.
