What color blue is this? Going to paint next year and I like this.

Just installed a Bestop bikini top the I bought from JT Outfitters: easy install, and works great. Had to trim the channel pieces that screw into the windshield frame, but it was straightforward. Will probably try to relocate the footman loops so the rear straps don't interfere with passengers in the back.

You can just run the straps along the outside of the roll cage and not have to remove the loops. This keeps the straps away from the just seat passengers.

TPI 4x4 (of Tennessee) family soft top, with a custom roll bar mounted to the stock roll bar side bars. Give us better coverage and fits inside under the hardtop without issue.

Since this thread got revived from 5 years ago, I’m curious if anyone has found a mounting solution that keeps the jump seats functional for passengers? Usually it looks like the straps would be in the way of anyone trying to sit there.

ould love to see more pictures of yer roll bar so I can understand what you've done. I'm thinking along the same lines.

I found this one on EBay and after trying a few different brands I believe it is the best one yet. It was made by Specialty Top in Denver Colorado and it’s been on almost constantly for 7 years and no tears no rips. Looks like the type of material used on quality boat covers, nice neutral gray color that doesn’t cook in the heat. I hope there still around if I ever need to replace it. Go topless!

Unfortunately Specialty Top went out of business or was acquired. Either way you can’t get their stuff anymore. I had their full top before I put an OEM top on and it was fantastic.

thats a really expensive way to get a bikini top 😂 plus if I ever get a full cage I’ve been eying up that Jackson cage from Metal Tech.

Where did you find an OEM top? Specialty top took over when Kayline went out of business. Both were in Denver. Have three old Kayline tops that fit factory bows. Toyota had made arrangements Kayline to provide replacement tops in the US. They were sold thru dealerships.

Here is two of them. First one is on 73 bows.

Second one bows are off a 69. The rear bow is shorter than my other rear bows. Not sure if the 69 was different or the rear bow was trimmed to fit the top.

Third top is black.

I also have a Ehsan bikini top that fits the FST door header and B pillar bow.

The Jackson cage is cool, but imagine your little one in the back during a rollover- family cage is the answer. Is it expensive? You betcha, just put a price on safety.
All ribbing aside, I like the SOR family cover, but the wife would rather go without. It makes some noise, but it blocks the sun.
