Wow Dutchcruiser that is a lot of laps around the Netherlands!

Hi everyone,

I am new to mud and I would like to introduce myself. This is my Land Cruiser 100 Diesel with nearly 1.400.000km (870.000miles) and still counting. In all these years only a fuel pump and a drive shaft have been replaced. So you can see the quality of the Land Cruisers.

Congrats and welcome. How about some proof? =)

The original died last year at about 280k. My shop installed a rebuilt unit. I think it is a Denso 80 amp. Nothing special. I'll dig up the paperwork and let you know. My 100 is '98 by the way.

Never mind. You weren't asking me, duhho! And yeah, Yuman Desert Rat is showing some good output.

Mine are about to roll over 118k(LX) and 105k(Cruiser) so I am very enthusiastic that people have such great service life out of these rigs. I think I'll lose mine to rust before the engine or trans give up.

Tell me about those volts. My volts never get that high. What alternator are you running?
Thats the alternator output. I was parked, too. Its a DC Power 270 amp HO. The battery is just fine its a new Die Hard platinum group 31 marine battery.

I want to believe this... really I do. But almost 900,000 miles and two items replaced? Come on DutchCruiser get us a good clean shot of that ODO!

Thanks everyone
I would like to take a picture of the odometer, but the meter doesn't go over a million.
Right now the odometer is on nearly on 400.000km, because it resets after a million.
I will do an OBD scan soon, then I might have the full mileage.
I also forgot to mention that the alternator is replaced, so 3 parts have been replaced.

If you are able to verify this, it might be worth contacting Toyota corporate - they would likely be interested in documenting this. Very (!) few vehicles have ever made it that far - and it's both interesting for R&D and marketing (think of those ads, commercials with the old Volvos, MBs, etc.).

That's amazing! Has the vehicle been in your family since new?

No, we bought the car 11 years ago, it only had one owner before us. Then my dad used to drive it all the time, mostly for towing big trailers over great distances. A few years ago he bought a Land Cruiser 200 and when I turned 18 I got to drive the 100. So now the 100 is my daily drive and is also used for mudding.
