I do believe it is an armored 73, that’s why it is converted to hardtop. I think they are pretty well done and I would totally rock it.

Cheers
I was wondering why one would do such a thing. That might explain why they eyeballed me so hard after I took the photo.

Thanks - I just saw your write-up... Have you put them to a HiLift "test" does the right driver side flex or bend when using a HiLift to jack the truck up on that corner?

I did, and they do. I’ve also smacked a few rocks with them.

Here is my newly bought 1995 HZJ75 Pickup. It has been working at a local firestation from 1995 until 2019.
In that time it has only done 33500km (about 21K miles)
The plan is that it will be rebuild as a camper and then take a trip around the world.
And here is a onefrom when it was a work.

Pretty cool how they incorporated the box into the OEM bed.

Well, I can say it's officially modded.. although still not in my possession. Hanging out with some other Maltec trucks until this lockdown ends. Lots of work to do once it gets here. Pretty excited. I like the profile of the roof. Not quite as sleek as the Trakka, but smoother than the AluCab.
