usually I put my dogs in the far back and open the sliding windows. Each one sticks their head out of a side as we go down the road, hoping to sniff out the passing scents and sights at 50 mph. Never fails to make me chuckle on the inside watching them in the rear view mirrors. Its also funny how people at lights get a kick out of them as well. I guess most people are just dog lovers and like their goofy expresions. I had a lady stop me once at the dog park and ask "What kind of truck is that?". She wanted to buy a truck with rear sliding windows for her dogs - that was her buying criteria. You know, after I left, I started watching and realized there are hardly any trucks with rear opening slider windows. Go Cruisers!

Here's our boy Grizz down near the Mexican Border with the 80 in the background. We think he's a Vizsla/Lab mix, great pup that we found at the pound about 18 months ago. He's always up for the next trip! Thanks to SWR on Expo Portal for the pic!

That almost looks like a great peraniese (sp?) dog! That's what we had when i was a kid. Huge, white, hairy dogs!! They were great.

Kimo on the left and Turbo on the right. 130 and 150 #'s respectively. Miniaturized by the size of the Landcruiser. All you have to say is "Go for a ride" and they go nuts. They love the back windows of the Landcruiser!

this is the pic of my 4month old rotty puppy Ratu...... he is so weak right now as he has just recovered from leptospirosis... even the vets thought he had no chance and wanted to put him down....

but now my brave lil sonny boy has got better is on the way to his physique.......

he just loves riding in my HDJ81
