Endless, i have another comment on your truck. I don't like lowriders, BUT...that thing has really smooth clean lines. Another question, so over the LX, RR or the Cayenne, which is the funnest to drive? Be honest.

Oh, and what is that red thingy located under the steering wheel?

Red thingy - Antitheft device?

Just don't get into a head on collision man! Things are gonna fly in that cab!

1997 Fake 40th (most work done by excellent previous owner)

Best:

1 -- changing the location of the truck from Texas to my house
2 -- diff breather hoses
3 -- iPod
4 -- CLD switch
5 -- GPS
6 -- Slee t-case skid plate
7 -- removing fender flares and Rhino Lining fenders
8 -- Tru-Speed
9 -- AC dryer skid plate
10 -- CB where the ashtray was
11 -- finally managing to get the trailer hitch off
12 -- dual batteries
13 -- cat-back exhaust
14 -- (more expensive from here) Slee sliders
15 -- front/rear bumpers
16 -- winch (and a snatch block)
17 -- African Outback full length roof rack
18 -- OME lift
19 -- 35" MTRs
20 -- TRD supercharger

Worst:

1 -- winch control module mounted to frame under bumper (not anymore)
2 -- snorkel (I have little use for it and hate the questions)

TJK

Endless, i was curious cause i have a friend who bought his wife a cayenne (non turbo) but he says he enjoys driving his 80 more than the cayenne.

2002 UZJ 100

Bang for buck only right?

Best: Trailhead deflators and PVC rod racks.

Worst: JAOS rear skid bar

Hey Endless, try Paragon Adventure Park in PA or Piine Barrens in NJ, or join GCLCs and wheel with some local guys.

Macneill, Im not in east coast no more hey but i drove the truck from NYC to LA-(CA) 3days 3 night
2988Miles $ 380 buks just the gas.

Arya Ebrahimi, about the inclinometer the other day i went to pepboys kinda check around on things

Peep this out yo ! ENDLESS, Most the off roading I do is on the beach chasing fish on the east end (hamtons), but there are some fun trails and high tension wire roads all over, and Mountauk state parks have a few trails as well. Most of it has little or no difficulty, I pull yuppies and my drunk friends off the beach with my winch ;)

1--takeing my spare out from under the stock location
2--givin BJ's sittin on the tail gate :) :) :) :) :) :)

PSJ1945, you gotta show me where so of 'em tension wires are...

Didn't know Montauk had trails either.

I do most of my fishing on Chappaquidick.

MACNEILL------------the trails might be able to be located with a mountain bike trail map, Bike Hamton in Sag Harbor NY 11963 has good trail maps. I have a lot of hours mountain biking in the trails out east. PS I heard you mention fishing, I used to be a light takle guide (Sight casting stripers). I would be happy to tell you what I know about any trails etc. pete

6) CO2 20lb tank w/ modified bracket
7) Borja Exhaust used - good deal

Worst:

1997 40th

Best bang for buck:

Buying the truck with factory diff locks
CDL switch and pin7 mod
Remove running boards (with help of big rock)
Cut off catalytic converters and turn 90 degrees. (my wife was ticked! she though I went out and got the truck lifted HIGHER)
OME
Husky liners!!!

So-so: custom exhaust, my design...increase in HP but used to small a muffler so it's too loud and resonates at highway speeds. I'm goin' Borla next time (but this is much offset by the fact I turned my cats at the same time, did I mention that's a good mod?)

worst $ spent? That stupid in-dash cupholder. Too small to hold much of anything, blocks the CD slot and stereo controls, and bounces so much (on-road and off) that you may as well just throw the drink all over the dash yourself. Waiting for it to break so I can put the useless-but-not-as-messy change slot back in.

Hey, at least we both have one mod in common. Both have LoJack :D

Except for one thing Junk . In your case you've strapped the LoJack transmitter to the back of a white squirrel . Thief gets in to steal your 80 , and out pops the squirrel . Win/win ... the cops find a white squirrel instead of your POS 80 , and some dirtbag gets stuck with it ! Justice for all ... :flipoff2:

And off to the Toyota lot you go , insurance cheque in hand . Lets see thats $247.99 , so you're lookin at a used scooter , I think
