Portland OR to Eastern WA?

I need to get a big, heavy roof rack from Newberg, OR (just west of Portland) to near the Tri Cities, WA in the next couple of weeks. I'm socked in with responsibility and can't make it down to pick it up as soon as I'd like. If anyone is making the trip east on I-84 with an empty pickup bed, I could arrange to meet you in Umatilla or something.

Im driving a 60 from Portland to Indiana. We havent decided on the route yet, but we may take 84 through there on the 17th or 18th.

The rack is a full-sized basket-style rack for a 60. It's almost 7 ft long and 150 pounds. I was thinking it would be easy for someone with an empty pickup bed, but if you're driving a 60, you'd have to put it on top, and that's a lot of hassle. Unless you're pulling a trailer or something?
